McComb Skin Clinic offers comprehensive medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology care with a tradition of compassion and excellence by board certified dermatology specialists.
Your Benefits
Dermatology is the only medical specialty completely devoted to the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of the skin, the largest organ of the body.
Prevent Future Problems
The adage “An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure” is particularly true in preventing damage to your skin. That birthday suit must last a lifetime.
Restore Your Skin’s Health and Appearance
Whether you need medical, surgical, or cosmetic treatments for your skin, McComb Skin Clinic’s dermatologists and nurse practitioner can make the difference in not only your skin’s health but also restore confidence in your appearance.
Quiet the Noise about Skin Care
Going directly to the experts for your skin care can quiet the noise surrounding all of the products, treatments, and options available. Our experts have had not only years of experience but are informed regarding the latest scientific research.
Refresh and Rejuvenate Your Appearance
Non-surgical cosmetic treatments can help restore a more youthful appearance. Our practice offers regimens including laser services, Botox, Dysport, Juvederm, Restylane, SkinPen microneedling, medical grade skin peels, Latisse, ZO cosmeceutical regimens, and more.
Medical
Medical conditions of the skin, hair, and nails are many. They include eczema, dermatitis, alopecia, hyperhydrosis, keloids, lichen planus, folliculitis, granuloma annulare, molluscum contagiosum, pruritus, herpes simplex, shingles, rosacea, acne, scabies, psoriasis, fungal infections, staph infections, urticaria, keratosis pilaris, neuritis, paronychia, pityriasis rosea, hidradenitis suppurativa, telangiectasia, impetigo, drug reactions, carbuncles, ulcers, lupus, and sarcoidosis. The skin is the largest organ of the body, and various systemic medical conditions manifest first in the skin.
Surgical
Procedures are done on site. Biopsies for diagnostic purposes, skin tag removal, and cryotherapy for the removal of benign and pre-malignant lesion such as actinic keratoses, inflamed sebhorreic lesions, and verrucae may be done at the time of an initial visit dependent upon the time necessary.
Excision and suture repair (either superficial or layered closures) for removal of lesions such as dermoid, pilondial, or myxoid cysts and for malignant lesion such as melanoma, squamous cell, and basal cell carcinomas are performed under local anesthesia in our surgery suite. Excision and suture repair are offered for cosmetic purposes if desired.

Testimonials
-
“Everyone is very professional and nice; I have seen both of the doctors and the nurse practitioner.”
Ms. Hall, Google Review -
“I have seen Dr. Brock, Dr. Newlon, and NP Charly Schmidt on multiple occasions and absolutely love all three. Amber is my ZO consultant. She chose a ZO regimen for me and I have never been happier with a skin care regimen.”
S. Lowery, Facebook Review -
“Such a friendly staff, and I’ve never had to wait long at all!”
Roxanne Brumfield, Facebook Review -
“Excellent service by all the staff and Dr. Newlon. The first doctor to ever give me a complete and thorough skin examination. As someone who lived at the beach my whole life, I am thankful for the time she took to check me for suspicious growths. I feel that I am in very good hands when I am there.”
